Nowadays you can say it out loud and without blushing: I met my partner online, via a dating site. Millions of singles have tried online dating, with or without success. Since July 25 of this year, the Netherlands has a new dating site, one that focuses specifically on people who want to cheat. That is something to keep your mouth shut about!
Last week I spoke with Noel Biderman, the CEO of Ashley Madison , a site for people looking for an affair that will also operate in the Netherlands from July 25.Ashley Madison
What is Ashley Madison?
“The site is basically a dating site and offers people who are looking for an affair the opportunity to find like- latvia phone number list minded people. These are people who are already in a relationship or are married but are, for example, dissatisfied or unhappy in that relationship and are looking for another partner. Singles are also welcome, but cannot come into contact with other singles, only with people who are already in a relationship.

The name Ashley Madison is a fantasy name and does not refer to a person, but to two popular girl names at the time the site launched in 2002. It took five years to get its first 1,000,000 members, after which the number quickly increased.”
It is not the first site in the Netherlands that focuses on the market for cheaters. The site Second Love has been available in the marketing list Netherlands for some time now and offers similar services. It is striking that they even have partly the same slogan ( Life is Short. Have an affair. versus Life is short. Have a second love. ). When I ask Noel about this competitor, he is clear: “I would not trust them with my confidential data (my profile), they are clearly not as well organized.” He adds: “and if you type in secondlove.com, you will end up at Ashley Madison.” He smiles.
Monogamy is an economic choice
